The President of Koovappady Brahmana Samooham, S. Mukundan (Retired Manager, Union Bank) passed away at a private hospital at Kochi today early morning. He was 67 and was suffering from illness since last week. His funeral was held at today at Edappalli. Mukundan was leading his retired life at Sunny Palace, West Side of Ganapathy Temple, Edappalli for last few years. He has served the community as the President of Kerala Brahmana Sabha, Perumbavoor Upasabha and District Organising Secretary (Ernakulam) of Kerala Brahmana Sabha. Mukundan was the State President of Union Bank Officers Association for a long time. Wife-Jayalakshmi, Children-Sowmya & Remya.
